The Vice President of Marketing & Brand Strategy leads the development and execution of integrated marketing, brand, communications, and member engagement strategies that drive growth, deepen member relationships, and expand market awareness. This role serves as the steward of the Elements brand and partners across the organization to support household acquisition, relationship growth, community expansion, and strategic business objectives. You will learn how to be the expert to best serve our members
  • Lead enterprise brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and market differentiation.
  • Oversee advertising, digital marketing, content, public relations, social media, sponsor ships, and communications.
  • Direct market research, member insights, competitive intelligence, and brand awareness initiatives.
  • Guide agency relationships, media strategy, campaign execution, and reputation management.
  • Serve as the organization’s marketing subject matter expert and advisor to executive leadership.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of all functional areas of credit union, including broad product knowledge and the financial drivers of the credit union. Possess the ability to utilize this information to make critical, influential, and strategic decisions.

  • Lead lifecycle marketing and personalized communication strategies that deepen household relationships.
  • Ensure consistent brand experiences across all member and employee touchpoints.
  • Partner with business leaders to support organizational culture and employee engagement initiatives.
You will help grow the business
  • Partner with Business Development to support employer relationship growth, direct deposit acquisition, and workplace banking initiatives.
  • Develop strategies that support Private Client, Wealth Management, and high‑balance household growth.
  • Lead awareness and acquisition efforts supporting branch expansion and community growth.
  • Drive youth and family engagement strategies that create lifelong member relationships.
  • Leverage analytics, CRM, automation, and segmentation to improve marketing performance and ROI.

  • Maintain expertise in financial services marketing, branding, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies.
  • Evaluate industry trends and best practices to ensure continued innovation and competitive advantage.

  • Lead and develop high‑performing marketing, communications, creative, and digital teams.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field;
    Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive marketing, brand, communications, or growth leadership experience.
  • Proven success leading integrated marketing strategies that drive measurable business growth.
  • Experience with brand strategy, digital marketing, communications, analytics, CRM, and marketing automation.
  • Financial services experience preferred; credit union experience strongly preferred.
