Content Specialist

Job Location: Remote (Central or Eastern schedule required) or Hybrid in Indianapolis

As a Content Specialist (CS) at PANBlast, you will work as part of client account teams, producing high‑quality content, collaborating directly with clients and driving quality control for written deliverables. In this fast‑paced agency role, you will produce long‑form deliverables, such as bylines, e‑books and case studies, while managing direct client communications, including leading story‑mining sessions and editing cycles. You will also help develop spokesperson quotes, predictions and Linked In content.

• Produce 14‑16 high‑quality, long‑form content deliverables (bylines primarily, along with blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, media Q&As and more, as needed) on average per month at agency pace.
• In addition to long‑form content, content specialists may be responsible for creating SEO‑enabled content, drafting Linked In posts and story‑mining call agendas, etc.
• Communicate directly with clients by leading content‑specific calls, following up on approvals, developing and leading story‑mining sessions and working through content edits and ideas.
• Communicate with other account team members to determine achievable deadlines and available resources for each piece of content.
• Assist marketing team with thought leadership for internal agency needs.
• Edit and quality check content team and PR team content as needed.
• Contribute to content workflow and process improvement discussions.
• Offer feedback and ideas to the PR team about pitching initiatives, storylines and plan angles.
• Understand clients’ technology and business.
• Understand the SaaS industry, traditional company milestones and how PR fits into company strategy.
• Track and read current events, PR industry news, and client industry news, flagging relevant articles.

• 2‑3 years of prior work experience in PR writing, content marketing or journalism.
• Prior experience writing owned content for SEO.
• Experience ghostwriting on behalf of executives, particularly with regard to thought leadership on Linked In.
• Thorough understanding of the PR process and the news media.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a command of grammar and AP style.
• Exceptional verbal communication, presentation, and client relations skills.
• A passion for storytelling and asking questions.
• The ability to meet deadlines.

• Experience working at or on behalf of a SaaS or other B2B technology brand(s).
• Experience writing AI‑enabled content for AEO and/or GEO.
• Prior agency experience.
