Marketing & Brand Coordinator

Classification:

Temporary, Part Time Internship (15 Hours / Week | Non-Benefits Eligible)

Position Summary:

This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of creative and administrative marketing projects, from graphic design to brand management and written support. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated and takes pride in producing polished, on-brand work with exceptional attention to detail.

Working closely with our Vice President, Strategy & Experience, this position will help ensure Accent Indy's existing brand is consistently represented across digital and print materials while supporting a variety of internal marketing initiatives. The target start date for this role is 9/1/26, with a target end date of 12/18/26.

Interview Process:

The interview process for this role will consist of two phases:

  • Initial screening and portfolio review (30 minutes)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create branded graphics and marketing assets using Canva and other design tools.
  • Design graphics and collateral for company initiatives.
  • Update proposal templates and other branded sales materials.
  • Update marketing copy to align with Accent Indy's established brand voice and messaging.
  • Edit and maintain website content using the Wix platform.
  • Manage and organize the Accent Indy Canva Brand Kit and marketing asset library.
  • Coordinate ordering of branded apparel, promotional products and company swag.
  • Assist with marketing projects requiring a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Review existing marketing materials to ensure brand consistency, accuracy and quality.
  • Support additional marketing and brand initiatives as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Champion the "Accent Way," consistently upholding Accent Indy's reputation for excellence, creativity and professionalism.
  • Participate in occasional team meetings and collaborate across departments on marketing initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes and maintain brand consistency across all company materials.
  • Support special projects and internal initiatives as needed.
Skills and

Qualifications:
  • Current enrollment in or completion of a degree or certificate program in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, Public Relations, or a related field. Relevant experience through internships, coursework, campus organizations, or freelance work is also encouraged.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to write and edit content for an established brand voice.
  • Experience with Canva;
    Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with website editing platforms (Wix experience is a plus, but not required).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while working independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with branding or marketing for hospitality, tourism, events, or professional services.
  • Basic understanding of print production and promotional merchandise ordering.
  • Up to 15 hours / per week
  • Flexible Hours/Scheduling – One Day in Office / Week, Remote for Remaining Hours
