The VP – Media Strategy is a leadership role within the Syneos Health Integrated Media Team responsible for the development and implementation of omnichannel integrated pharmaceutical media campaigns. The position plans and communicates advanced omnichannel media strategy to clients, manages complex multimedia campaigns in the pharma/healthcare space, and ensures maximum impact from strategic approaches. The role has a prominent client‑facing component, requiring expert presentation skills and the ability to translate complex media topics for audiences with limited marketing and media experience.

• Lead and grow a global team, shaping the group’s structure and vision.
• Craft and present complex strategic media campaigns to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Recommend improvements and new initiatives, acting as a caretaker for client media investments to achieve optimal deployment and optimization.
• Ensure flawless execution and develop a proactive culture of training, onboarding, and internal advancement.

• Experience: Minimum 12 years leading, executing, and planning strategic integrated media campaigns.
• Leadership: Manage a growing global team, provide input on structure and vision.
• Strategy/Planning & Presentation Development: Design complex strategic media campaigns and communicate approach to clients and stakeholders.
• New Business: Participate in pitches for new business and operationalize complex asks during the RFP process.
• Client Management: Directly interact with clients, build relationships, and oversee flawless campaign execution and reporting.
• Execution/Campaign & Project Management: Manage and optimize omnichannel integrated media campaigns across all major channels (offline and digital), emphasizing strategic innovation; heavy TV experience required.
• Travel: Candidates should be free to travel as needed to support the business.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $180,000. Actual salary will vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonuses based on company and/or individual performance.
