Simply Salad was started in 2010 on a simple idea: everyone deserves access to fresh, flavorful, made-to-orderfood that's actually good for them — without sacrificing speed or convenience. That idea has grown into 12restaurants across Greater Los Angeles, and we’re just getting started.

We're entering an exciting new chapter. Our CMO joined Simply Salad after leading marketing for iconic national and international brands including CMO of Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, and before that Burger King'sEMEA region based in Switzerland. This role comes with a rare amount of exposure and mentorship for amarketer who wants to grow fast.

Position Summary Simply Salad is hiring its first dedicated Marketing Manager — a foundational role reporting directly to theCMO. We're looking for someone with a strong background in social media (content creation, content calendars, and influencer relationships) who is ready to expand into full-funnel marketing: campaign and calendar planning, brand DNA and tone of voice, product innovation and insights, PR, digital media, in-store andlocal store marketing, out-of-home, and every other channel Simply Salad uses to reach guests.

This is a hands-on role. You'll be expected to be able to create content yourself — not just direct it — while also helping build the infrastructure to help us be the best s role will also require building the muscle tothink like a brand marketer: connecting what you post to what it drives, and using data to decide what to donext.

Above all, we're looking for someone who is genuinely curious, eager to learn, and comfortable asking questions — paired with the analytical instinct to understand ROI and translate it into action.

What You'll DoSocial Media & Content
• Own Simply Salad's social media presence end-to-end: content calendar, creation, posting, community management, and performance reporting.
• Initially shoot, edit, and produce content (photo, video, short-form) that captures Simply Salad's voice —comfortable being in front of and behind the camera.
• Identify, build, and manage relationships with influencers and creators who fit the brand, from outreach through campaign execution and ROI reporting.
• Stay ahead of platform trends and adapt Simply Salad's content and tone accordingly.
• Work with 3 rd party photographers for food and lifestyle content generation.

Brand, Calendar & Campaign Planning
• Build and maintain the company-wide marketing calendar, aligning social, promotions, product launches,and local activations.
• Help define and protect Simply Salad's brand DNA and tone of voice across every channel and touchpoint.
• Partner with leadership on product innovation and menu launches, bringing customer and market insights into the process.

PR, Digital & Broader Media
• Support public relations efforts, including media outreach, press materials, and local community partnerships.
• Assist in planning and executing digital media (paid social, email, SMS, website) alongside the CMO and any outside agency partners.
• Contribute to out-of-home and other traditional media as Simply Salad's channel mix  & Local Store Marketing
• Develop and roll out in-restaurant marketing materials (menus, signage, promotional collateral) that keepevery location on-brand.
• Partner with restaurant General Managers on local store marketing — grassroots activations, community partnerships, and new-location launch support.
