Admissions Specialist

Dove Recovery House for Women is committed to empowering women to become substance free, self-sufficient, and healthy by providing safe housing, quality programming, and – above all – hope for their future and is looking for an organized and personable individual to join our team as the Admissions Specialist.

The Admissions Specialist will enhance the quality of care for women recovering from trauma and substance use disorder by being the first point of contact for new clients, guiding them through the initial stages of engagement with Dove House and ensuring a seamless admissions process into the program.

Responsibilities include:

• Collect and verify essential information for accuracy, including program applications and requirements are timely completed.
• Ensure all preliminary details are accurately recorded in the Electronic Medical Record as they are central to managing the flow of incoming clients and ensuring a smooth transition to services.
• Manage admissions process for Dove House's three facilities by working with and communicating with team members across all departments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and minimum of five years’ experience in field of social work, addiction, mental health or a related field is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of case management principles. Previous case management in a non-for-profit environment preferred.
• Peer Recovery Coach/Specialist Certification preferred. Experience and/or ability to work and interact effectively with a diverse audience.
• Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, or social services is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with database management required.
