Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Orleans, Indiana is seeking a Bivocational Pastor to lead our congregation. We are looking for a man called by God to preach the Gospel, shepherd our church family, and help us grow spiritually while serving alongside church leadership.
Responsibilities- Preach and teach the Word of God
- Provide spiritual leadership and guidance to the congregation
- Offer pastoral care, including visiting the sick and those in need
- Lead baptisms, weddings, funerals, and the Lord’s Supper
- Work with deacons and church leaders to support church ministries
- Encourage evangelism, discipleship, and community outreach
- A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a calling to pastoral ministry
- Agreement with Baptist doctrine and the church’s statement of faith (located on Mt. Pleasant’s website under

- A servant’s heart and desire to shepherd a rural congregation
- Pastoral or ministry experience preferred
- This is a bivocational position, allowing the pastor to maintain outside employment while serving the church.
