Mission Intern - Indianapolis, Indiana

Is God calling you to join The Cause, to discover your Kingdom purpose while being equipped and empowered with missionary skills in the heart of Indianapolis alongside a Compassionate Ministry Center? This mission intern will join with Nazarene Global Missions, the USA/CANADA Region, the Missions Mobilization team, Indianapois District, and Shepherd Community Church of the Nazarene and Shepherd Community Center in Indianapolis, Indiana USA.

• Be guided in cultural bridge-building
• Listen and learn alongside others on navigating cultural differences to build meaningful relationships.
• Community Engagement and Learning
• Participate in cultural orientation activities, language learning opportunities, and community events to develop cross‑cultural competency while contributing to relationship‑building efforts.
• Support the ongoing work of the compassionate ministry center.
• Daily and Weekly Communication and Teamwork skills.
• Participate in exploring how God’s work and human dignity are revealed through cross‑cultural service.

• Cultural sensitivity and adaptability, with demonstrated interest in cross‑cultural work.
• Commitment to the organization’s mission and values, along with flexibility in role assignments.
• A growing and active relationship with Jesus Christ.
