*** IV Therapy RN 36hrs. Nights
*** Shift: 1x12 7:00pm-7:30am; & 3x8's 11:00pm-7:30am.
Unit Name: IVTherapy.
Brief Unit
Description:
All IV Therapy Registered RN's must be able to achieve and maintain the required core IV Therapy skills/competencies for the department, which are:
- Peripheral IV insertion
- CVAD dressing change
- Non‑tunneled CVAD removal
- Reconstitution, instillation and removal of thrombolytic
- Access/ de‑access implanted ports
- Repositioning a peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC)
- Ultrasound Guided IV lines
Years of Experience
Required:
Minimum 2 years of experience working in IV/Venous Access team.
Skill Sets
Required:
- IV insertion
- Ultrasound Guided IVs
- PICC line insertion
Education Required:
BSN Preferred.
Patient Population: ALL Ages Neonatal, infant, pediatrics, adult, & geriatrics.
EMR & Equipment Used: EPIC.

Rotating Shifts
Required:
All day shift positions are rotating.
Certification
Required:
Active MARN License. AHA BLS.
