Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Primary Care (Epler Parke)
Join Indiana University Health's Family Medicine team at the Epler Parke clinic as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Position Details- Full-time, Day Shift
- Offering a 5 or 4 day work week
- No weekends, holidays, or call – allowing work/life balance
- 100% outpatient
- Expected patient volume: 80 per week, all ages
- Team includes 7 physicians and 1 other advanced practice provider
- Assess health status through obtaining relevant health history and comprehensive physical exam, preventative screening, and identifying medical risk factors.
- Formulate appropriate differential diagnosis and identify individual, family, and community needs.
- Develop treatment plan to maximize the health potential of the individual, family, and/or community.
- Order and adjust medication per collaborative written agreement and prescriptive authority in accordance with the Indiana Nurse Practice Act, or in consultation with, and with signature of, physician.
- Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff, physicians, hospital, and other healthcare providers.
- Serve as an advocate for patients, staff, and management.
- Manage acute and long‑term care of the patient.
- Master's degree required
- FNP or PA certification required
- 2–3 years of outpatient experience in primary care or urgent care highly preferred
