In this role, you will perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments primarily through interview-based evaluations and limited physical assessments. This is a non-treatment position focusing on documentation, with no prescribing or therapeutic responsibilities. Your expertise will directly contribute to veterans’ well‑being by conducting essential assessments efficiently and accurately.

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Indiana
• Experience in general medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or related fields
• Strong interviewing and assessment skills
• Ability to perform physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing
• Excellent documentation and report‑writing skills
• Reliable, organized, and professional demeanor

• Prior experience with compensation and pension examinations
• Familiarity with veteran healthcare protocols
• Certification in physical assessment or related specialties
• Prior outpatient or primary care experience

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (e.g., MSN, DNP)
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in general or internal medicine
• Previous experience in a similar locum or temporary assignment is advantageous

• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of assigned locations if working from home
• Ability to work on a PRN basis, with flexible scheduling options including half‑day or full‑day shifts
• Willingness to undergo quick credentialing and onboarding
• Travel expenses included in pay rates as applicable
• Candidates must adhere to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations

Hourly Pay Rate: $402.00
