TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a 13‑week assignment in the PCU – Progressive Care Unit in Indianapolis, Indiana.

We are looking for Progressive Care Unit RNs for an immediate opening. The right candidate should have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
As a PCU Travel Nurse, you will provide close monitoring and frequent assessment to patients who are not unstable enough for ICU care. Your responsibilities will include monitoring cardiac and vital information, administering complex medications (often via intravenous line), and performing step‑down nursing tasks such as catheter placement and IV insertion.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
- Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications, reporting any adverse reactions.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpreting electronic displays.
- Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment indicates adverse symptomatology.
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. RNs should lift 20 pounds easily; moving or lifting patients may require up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications- ACLS and BLS certification
- NIH certification
- At least 2 years of nursing experience
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Weekly pay and guaranteed hours.
