Registered Nurse – Primary Care Paoli – Triage – Ambulatory

Overview

IU Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for a Primary Care and Walk-in Clinic in Paoli, IN. The RN will be tasked with triaging patients as necessary, both over the phone and in person, and will assist on the clinic floor as needed.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (shift hours may vary with patient volume) with 1 rotating Saturday per month; some holidays required.

• Triaging patients as necessary, both over the phone and in person.
• Assist on the clinic floor as needed.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department policies.
• Associate of Nursing (ASN);
  Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Active Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Two years of experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
• Knowledge of procedures for the specific clinical area and familiarity with equipment and supplies.
• Ability to coordinate multiple functions for a group of patients in an effective, timely manner.
• Awareness and understanding of the legal implications of patient care activities as a RN.
• Ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
