RN. The IU Health Talent Acquisition team matches new graduates with opportunities based on their skills and interests.

In the Operating Room (OR) Fellowship Program you will work under the guidance of OR educators and preceptors. You will participate in Perioperative 101, learn how to scrub and circulate, and develop clinical skills to become a competent operating room nurse.

For nurses experienced in the OR, orientations are bi‑weekly and required on the day shift (7 a.m.–3:30 p.m.). We provide evening coverage (9 p.m.–7:30 a.m.).

Job is referral eligible and qualifies for a location differential. Must live within 45 minutes of Methodist Hospital.

• Scrub and circulate during surgery.
• Support intra‑operative patient care and perioperative nursing tasks.
• Participate in unit and interdisciplinary team meetings and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain current state of Indiana RN license and required certifications.

• Associate of Nursing (ASN);
  Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Current Indiana RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA.
• Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty.
