Assistant Director of Nursing - Registered Nurse
Compensation: $87,984 - $97,760 / year

Marion County Jail, 695 Justice Way, Indianapolis, IN 46203
- Supervises nursing staff, including performance reviews, hiring, and disciplinary action.
- Evaluates patient care quality and implements improvement initiatives, collaborating with Nurse Managers and Director of Nursing.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and organization policies and procedures.
- Participates in policy and procedure development and hospital-wide employee orientations.
- Provides professional nursing care as needed to respond to workload demands or staffing shortages.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Experience
- Three (3) years’ experience in psychiatric inpatient setting with an additional two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Two (2) years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience working exclusively with individuals diagnosed with mental illness or multiple disabilities.
- Regulatory agency knowledge including The Joint Commission, DHSS, Centers for Medicaid & Medicare Services is preferred.
Licenses / Certifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment.
