Registered Nurse - PACU - University Hospital

Overview

Part and Full-time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign‑on bonus. We are seeking an individual with a minimum of one year of RN experience for this role. This position is also referral eligible. If you are a team player and eager to learn and grow your critical nursing skills, the PACU unit has availability for nurses.

We recover patients from a variety of procedure and surgical areas post‑anesthesia. We are open Monday‑Friday, with some on‑call on the weekends and weeknights that is rotating with all staff.

Days – 10:00 a‑7:30 p (4‑9s)

• PACU – post‑surgical patients:
  General, ENT, Urology, Plastics, Ortho, Thoracic, GYN, Transplant, IR, GI, and ERCP
• Outpatient post‑surgical patients

• PACU – 15 bays

• Epidurals, CADD pumps, vent management, art lines, assessment skills, lab draws, PCAs, pain/nausea management, ACLS, PALS

• Magnet
• ERAS
• ERCP procedures

• NPG Committees
• Healthy Work Environment committee
• Spirit Days
• Activities outside of work
