Overview

The Provider is responsible for delivering high quality health care within Fast Pace Health’s scope of services while achieving optimum patient satisfaction. The provider must work in a team‑oriented environment, be flexible to adapt to new technologies and protocols in a quickly evolving practice setting, respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment, and provide outstanding patient service within the clinic and through various virtual communication channels while maintaining a compassionate and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth, meeting patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient care as determined.
  • Lead clinic staff, modeling professional behaviors and attitudes for X‑ray Technologists, nurses, and front office staff.
  • Perform responsibilities listed in the SCRIBE job description.
  • Review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications; ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses.
  • Actively engage with clinical leadership, escalating issues to management as needed.
  • Accurately complete patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts appropriately on a daily basis.
  • Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians.
  • Analyze and interpret patient histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
  • Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with attention to patient‑centric care, safety, cost, and accurate information.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including HIPAA.
  • Work efficiently in a fast‑paced autonomous environment within both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings.
  • Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests; responsibly prescribe medications and educate patients on continued treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training.
  • Maintain adherence to company core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
  • Recommend ideas to improve overall patient experience and care.
  • Welcome and train new employees, facilitating introductions, clinic tours, job shadowing, and coaching.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • PRN employees must work a minimum of 4 shifts per month; full‑time employees must work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend. Ancillary providers are on call periodically throughout the year.
Experience Levels
  • Level 1:
    New Grad with up to 1 year of experience as a nurse practitioner.
  • Level 2:
    Nurse practitioner with over 1 year of experience and less than 5 years of experience.
  • Level 3:
    Nurse practitioner with over 5 years of experience and less than 10 years of experience.
  • Level 4:
    Nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience.
Experience Requirements and Preferences
  • Education:

    Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN).
  • Experience:

    At least 1‑2 years as a provider in a relevant practice such as urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER or trauma unit, family medical practice is strongly preferred.
  • Current License or Certification:
    License and DEA must be active, in good standing, and verifiable with the proper regulatory agency. DEA is required for all providers; DOT certification is required for full‑time and part‑time providers within 120 days of employment and must be maintained.
