Indiana University Health Medical Group is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Neurosurgery department at Goodman Hall and Methodist Hospital
. IU Health Medical group is actively expanding its Neurosurgery presence across the Indianapolis metro area, with continued growth in elective procedures. This newly created Hybrid role offers full-spectrum involvement across preoperative, Intraoperative and post-operative care, spanning both inpatient and outpatient settings across three IU Health locations.
This position is 100% onsite and provides the unique opportunity to work closely with engaged, highly instructional neurosurgeons who are committed to teaching and collaborations.

• Full-time - Days
• 4-10-hour shifts
• Monday
  - Friday (Day off rotates)
• 80% Inpatient
• 20% Outpatient
• Working directly with 9 physicians and 16 APP's

• Simple wound closures
• Shunt Taps
• Delivery of Intrathecal medications

• Neurotrauma subspecialty in Neurosurgery

• Rounding with trauma attending
• Evaluating Neuro changes
• managing non-ICU hospitalized neurotrauma patients
• Attend multidisciplinary meetings
• Discharging

• PA or ACNP certification required
• New grad considered
• Ideal candidate will have clinical background in Neurosurgery, Critical Care, Trauma neurology
• ICU experience preferred
