Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Cardiology, Advanced Heart Failure (Methodist Hospital)
We are seeking a patient‑focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology/Heart Failure Team at Methodist Hospital.
Schedule- Full‑time, Day Shift
- 4 10‑hour shifts per week
- Rotates every 3rd‑4th weekend and holidays
- No call
- Join a large group of 50 physicians and 27 APPs
- Work directly with 4 physicians and 4 other APPs
- Inpatient advanced heart failure management including initiation of guideline directed medical therapy, advanced therapies, inpatient heart failure consults, admissions, discharges, and patient education.
- Master’s degree required
- ACNP, AGNP, FNP, or PA certification required
- Experience as an APP preferred
- Open to motivated new graduates depending on prior experience and skill level. If new graduate, must have ICU/PCU nursing experience or extensive ICU or cardiology experience during clinical rotations.
- Excellent critical thinking skills, ability to multitask in a high‑intensity setting, and strong communication skills.
