ResponsibilitiesThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Qualifications- Indiana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio‑Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Corrections experience not required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check
- Full‑time day shift 6am‑6:30pm, every other weekend
- Full‑time night shift 6pm‑6:30am, every other weekend
