Job Overview

Support the Registered Nurse in implementing the patient care plan for a group of patients, functioning in a technical role to deliver high‑quality patient care.

• Conduct nursing assessment by collecting, reporting, and recording objective and subjective data.
• Provide direct patient care in a safe manner.
• Continuously evaluate the patient care plan.
• Communicate effectively in writing and orally with patients, families, and health team members.
• Participate in activities designed to improve health care delivery in the assigned area.

• Required:
  
  Technical Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Preferred:
  None.

• Required:
  
  Basic Life Support – American Heart Association.
• Required:
  
  Licensed Practical Nurse, Tennessee – Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• Preferred:
  Licensed Practical Nurse, Mississippi – Mississippi Board of Nursing.
• Preferred:
  Licensed Practical Nurse, Arkansas – Arkansas State Board of Nursing.

• Climb, push, stand, hear, walk, reach, grasp, kneel, stoop, and perform repetitive motions.
• Exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and up to 25 lbs. of force frequently.
• Maintain good balance and coordination.
• Display close visual acuity, including color, depth perception, and field of vision.
• Experience frequent invasive and non‑invasive patient contact.
• Handle exposure to patient body fluids and hazardous or poisonous materials.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations.
