Clinical Manager – Pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center

Responsibilities- Combine clinical experience and contemporary leadership practices with the IU Health Way to achieve excellent outcomes.
- Translate and achieve strategic priorities and outcomes including quality and safety improvements, care affordability, great patient experiences, and great team member experiences.
- Provide strategic vision and operational planning for the assigned unit.
- Lead an inter‑professional team to create an environment where the team is empowered to achieve excellence in patient and organizational outcomes.
- Advance nursing practice by advocating and consistently embedding evidence‑based practices and professional nursing standards.
- Manage a fully onsite, Monday‑Friday day shift team at Riley Hospital.
Reports to:
Director – Clinical Operations, Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
Direct reports: 50–55 staff.
Key Relationships:
Operating Room (OR).
- Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) required.
- If bachelor degree not in nursing, must have Master of Nursing (MSN).
- Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Specialty certification related to nursing practice or leadership preferred.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license required.
- Required Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
