RN Clinical Supervisor - Ambulatory Gastroenterology Care
Community Physician Network Indianapolis Northside
Responsibilities- Proactively work towards achieving quality and safety outcomes and assist with overall clinical staff development.
- Serve as a clinical lead and resource to all clinical staff in collaboration with the practice manager, including hiring, coaching, training, education, and providing feedback on performance evaluations.
- Ensure retention of talent by providing proper training and development for low performing staff.
- Collaborate with nursing administration, practice leadership, and other administrative staff to create efficient clinical services, implement process improvements, and assist in quality initiatives.
- Assist with rooming patients and triage as needed.
- Adhere to established quality principles and standards.
- Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- 3 years of medical office experience required.
- 2 years of clinical supervision or lead experience preferred.
- Computer skills for documentation and work-related purposes are required.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrates customer service skills to provide exceptional patient and family experience.
- Able to maintain strong internal and patient/staff relations.
- Accountable and self-directed.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward problem-solving; ability to collaborate with others in a team setting.
