Unit

OR at Paoli Hospital is a small unit that includes endoscopy and general surgery procedures. Examples are gallbladder’s, hernia’s, 24/7 c-section coverage, etc.

Our nurses are responsible for on-call coverage that comprises a 30-minute response time along with approximately 65 hours of being on-call per week.

Qualifications
  • Requires 1 year RN experience.
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN);
    Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions:
    Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
