Locum OB Anesthesiologist position

Job Overview

This position is titled MDD and is available for ASAP through an ongoing shift type of "Day Shift". The assignment is ORCall and does not require call. Board certification is required and an active Indiana license is mandatory. The role is a locum engagement and will be compensated as part of the local model.

This busy hospital offers comprehensive anesthesia services with established protocols for diverse surgical procedures. The facility operates six operating rooms and three endoscopy rooms with a high case volume and modern capabilities, while maintaining a supervision staffing model and paper charting systems. Temporary privileges are offered for fast credentialing processes.

The anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia services Monday through Friday, starting at 6:30 am. Exit times vary between 1 pm, 3 pm, or 6 pm based on OR orders. General anesthesia cases will be managed while excluding OB procedures, and all blocks will be performed independently. The position operates within a supervision model with four MDs and nine CRNAs/CAAs daily across six ORs and three endoscopy rooms.

No night, call, or holiday coverage responsibilities are required.
