Signature HealthCARE - - Responsibilities:
Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician under the direction of the Charge Nurse and Director of Nursing;
Accurately prepare, administer, and document oral and/or topical medications per state and federal guidelines;
Observe and document medication administration and notify Charge Nurse of refusals, omissions, or errors;
Monitor medication supply levels and coordinate with Charge Nurse to maintain adequate stock;
Adhere to controlled substances, narcotic recordkeeping, and medication destruction requirements; assist with ADLs as needed and directed
