Medication Aide-Certified

Signature HealthCARE -  - Responsibilities:
Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician under the direction of the Charge Nurse and Director of Nursing;
Accurately and safely prepare, administer, and document oral and/or topical medications as ordered by the attending physician per state and federal guidelines;
Adhere to the 5 rights of medication administration (right resident, right mediation, right dose, right route, right time);
Observe and document medication administration, including refusals, omissions, or errors, and promptly notify the Charge Nurse;
Monitor medication supply levels and coordinate with the Charge Nurse to ensure adequate stock is maintained
