American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring 2+ years of large ED experience and multiple certifications including TNCC.

• Work in a 65-bed Emergency Services department
• Patient ratios:
  Shock 2:1, Core 4:1, Psych 3:1, Exam 6:1
• Uses Alaris Pumps, Phillips Monitors, and Belmont Rapid Infuser equipment
• Epic EMR system used
• Schedule consists of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mid-shift 3x12s (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM)
• Weekend coverage required every Saturday and Sunday
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required according to skill set

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Previous emergency nursing experience in a large ED required
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to adapt to fluctuating patient volumes in a fast-paced environment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Navy blue scrubs required
• EKG testing required as part of the qualification process, with two attempts allowed
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a reduced rate
