American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of large ED experience and TNCC certification.

• Emergency Services department in a 65-bed unit
• Patient ratios:
  Shock 2:1, Core 4:1, Psych 3:1, Exam 6:1
• Uses Alaris Pumps, Phillips Monitor, and Belmont Rapid Infuser
• Documents in Epic EMR
• Schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7a-7p, 3x12-hour day shifts
• Works every weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
• No call requirements
• Floating required according to skill set

• Active RN license (Indiana or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Previous emergency nursing experience in a large ED required
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to adapt to fluctuating patient volume in a fast-paced environment
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• EKG testing required as part of the qualification process

• Provide emergency nursing care across varied acuity levels including shock, core, psych, and exam patients
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are considered local and eligible at a reduced bill rate
