We are seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Level 3 NICU at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, IN
!
- Full Time
- Rotating shifts
- Starting out days initially (8-10hr shifts) & then will transition to 24-hr shifts (8-10hr & 24-hour shifts)
- 100% inpatient
- 38-bed level III NICU, premature and term neonates with a variety of health conditions
- Team includes 4 physicians and 10 APPs
- Attend deliveries of high-risk neonates
- Development of plan of care and oversight of critically ill neonates
- procedures including intubation, PICC, UAL/UVL, chest tube placement
- Masters degree required
- NNP or PA-Neonatal certification required
- Open to new graduates with NICU experience
- NICU experience, ideally level 3-4, preferred
- Delivery room experience, preferred
- Ability to provide independent APP coverage during night shifts, managing acute neonatal care
- Fully credentialled in all required procedures, as defined by institutional standards
