Alternate Registered Nurse (RN) – Contract Position
Healing and Helping Home Health LLC is seeking an experienced and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as an Alternate/Backup Nurse for our startup home health agency in Indiana.
This is a contract position ideal for an RN who is interested in being part of a growing home health agency from the beginning. Patient volume will initially be limited and will increase as our census grows.
Position ResponsibilitiesServe as an Alternate/Backup RN for the agency
Provide coverage when the primary nurse is unavailable
Complete skilled nursing visits as assigned
Assist with admissions, assessments, re-certifications, and discharges as needed
Review and complete clinical documentation
Assist with Plans of Care and physician orders
Communicate with physicians, patients, families, and agency staff
Participate in quality assurance and compliance activities as needed
Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Follow agency policies and applicable Indiana and federal home health requirements
Current and active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license
Home health experience strongly preferred
Experience with Medicare/Medicaid home health documentation preferred
Knowledge of OASIS and Plans of Care preferred
Strong documentation and communication skills
Dependable and able to provide backup coverage when needed
Must successfully complete all required background and credentialing requirements

Compensation to be discussed based on experience and responsibilities
