Our Family Practice Obstetrics (FPOB) practice is seeking a dedicated and experienced provider to join our collaborative team. We are seeking a provider who is passionate about women's health, enjoys working in a team-based environment, and is committed to delivering high-quality care to our community.

This position provides the opportunity to work alongside Family Practice Obstetric physicians in delivering comprehensive care to women throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and routine family practice visits. Qualified candidates may be a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). Apply online or e-mail resume to lhensley!

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
:
  • Currently licensed in the state of Indiana as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Required: Prior clinical experience in Obstetrics.
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
  • Patient Care: Provide obstetric, Women's health and family practice health care within scope of practice. Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide education and counseling.
  • Scope of Practice:
    Collaborate with Family Practice Obstetric Physician to support prenatal, postpartum, and ongoing primary care services

    . Participate in promoting positive maternal and family health outcomes. Demonstrate a high degree of skill and accuracy in all clinical activities. Complies with medical staff rules and regulations. Serves as a patient advocate. Maintains required State continuing education requirements.
  • Documentation/Communication: Utilizes computer documentation system appropriately. Document the patient's visit in the medical record, in problem-oriented format and in accordance with Hospital policy, and any Federal and State Standards. Communicates professionally, consistently, and effectively with all team members to ensure coordination and prioritization of patient care duties and responsibilities. Willingness to learn and work in an autonomous, flexible, agile work environment.
