Location: Indianapolis
Overview
We have an opportunity within our Research Oncology nursing team located on the north side of Indianapolis at the North Oncology Cancer Pavilion. This position focuses on clinical research protocols and patient care within a partnership between Community Health Network and MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Responsibilities- Manage patient care across the health care continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost‑effective manner.
- Collaborate, delegate, negotiate, and manage resources to support nursing practice.
- Assess, plan, implement, and execute clinical research protocols in conjunction with the Principal Investigator and clinical research team.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a nursing program recognized by the National League for Nursing, CCNE, ACEN, or other accredited nursing school.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in Indiana under the Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Minimum two years of oncology experience; some research experience is preferred.
- Required to obtain Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) certification within three years of hire.
