Kraft Commons Assisted Living is looking for a full-time day shift CNA Monday through Friday for day shift 7:00am-3:15pm.
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct resident care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) in an assisted living community. Responsibilities include assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meal services while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life. The CNA observes and reports changes in residents' physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff, documents care provided, maintains a safe and clean environment, and responds promptly to resident needs.
The CNA works collaboratively with healthcare team members, residents, and families to ensure high-quality, compassionate care in accordance with facility policies and applicable regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification as required by state regulations.
- Ability to provide compassionate resident-centered care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
Essential Functions:
- Assist residents with personal care and daily activities.
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation.
- Support resident safety, comfort, and well-being.
- Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality guidelines.
