Psychiatric Unit RN

Seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) in Behavioral Health for a psychiatric inpatient setting.

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with treatment teams, physicians, patients, and families to support recovery and positive outcomes.
• Administer medications, develop therapeutic relationships, and respond to behavioral health concerns using therapeutic interventions.
• Conduct patient groups, assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in treatment planning and unit operations, ensuring safety protocols like restraint and seclusion are followed.

• Graduate of an accredited ASN or BSN nursing program
• Active Indiana RN license and BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of psychiatric nursing principles and psychosocial systems
