American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department night shift position requiring BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

• Night shift, 19:00-07:30, 13-week assignment
• Every other weekend requirement

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through AHA required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• TNCC and NIH Stroke Certification preferred
• Ascension Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training preferred

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and protocols
• Implement and monitor patient care plans
• Serve as primary coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
• Radius rule applies which may reduce pay rate for local candidates
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

The $1,895 weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range. Weekly travel pay includes tax‑free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer‑paid taxes and related costs.
