** About the Role
** As a
** Nurse Practitioner (NP)**, you will provide a broad range of clinical services to patients of all ages. You’ll treat acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections. You’ll work independently or alongside a physician, using your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, while recognizing when to escalate care to emergency services.###
** Essential Responsibilities
*** Conduct physical exams and review patient medical histories
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
* Diagnose conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments or medications
* Perform minor procedures including suturing, splinting, and casting
* Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR
* Educate and counsel patients on care and prevention
* Administer vaccinations and refer patients to specialists as needed
* Work scheduled shifts of 4, 8, or 12 hours as assigned
* Perform other duties as assigned by leadership###
** Minimum Qualifications
*** Minimum
** 1 year of full-time experience
** as a licensed NP or PA in an
** Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine
** setting (required)
* Experience treating
** both pediatric and adult
** patient populations (required)
* Comfortable performing
** minor procedures
** including suturing, casting, and splinting (required)
* Proficient in
** preliminary reads
** of EKGs and X-rays (required)
** Nurse Practitioners:
*** Master’s degree in Nursing (required)
* National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (
** AANP or ANCC**) (required)###
** Required Skills & Abilities
*** Proficiency in urgent care procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting)
* Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Attentive listening and patient engagement###
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
* Multilingual communication skills
* Familiarity with telemedicine platforms
* Basic understanding of medical billing and coding
