Registered Nurse - Med Surg/Telemetry Unit Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position, with shifts scheduled for 12-hour nights:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Nurses will be off on Monday and worked on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

The Med Surg/Telemetry Unit requires a skilled Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients. With a total of 22 beds, including LDRP and ICU, this unit provides an array of services for common diagnoses such as COPD, CHF, pneumonia, abdominal pain, minor surgical cases, SBO, and COVID-19.

• Provide nursing care for patients in the Med Surg/Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips as required.
• Titrate medication drips, including Heparin, as part of patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med Surg/Telemetry required.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS; PALS preferred.
• RN license required.
