Networks Connect is searching for an Infection Control Nurse that will work in office. Networks Connect is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will develop, implement, and continually monitor the infection control policies and procedures for all departments. Participate in Infection Control Committees. Collaborate with local and state health departments in the prevention, control, and appropriate reporting of communicable diseases.
Participate in ongoing infection control educational programs for employees, including TB, HIV/Hep/Universal Precautions. May educate patients as necessary.
- Implement a surveillance system for detecting and monitoring hospital acquired and community infections.
- Monitor, analyze, and interpret bacteriology reports and infection statistics, recommend appropriate control measures to prevent dissemination of resistant microorganisms and pathogens.
- Provide physicians and staff with updates of infection control policy changes.
- Consult with physicians, managers, and staff for the management of infectious and/or immuno suppressed patients.
- Act as a resource person for staff concerning infection control.
- Undertake regular infection control audits and appropriate follow up action where required.
- ACLS & BLS certifications (must be through American Heart Association).
- ICP or related certification preferred but not required.
- Completed an Infection Preventionist or have taken the CDC course.
- 5 years recent hospital infection control experience in a hospital setting.
- Indiana RN or Compact License.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $53.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
