Overview

We are an established, community‑focused clinic offering advanced diagnostics, internal specialty consultations, and continuous professional development for all team members.

Responsibilities
  • Perform duties outlined in the associate Veterinarian job description (80–90%).
  • Attain specific production goals set in the hospital’s annual plan.
  • Maintain veterinary excellence by attending annual CE and spearheading innovation within the veterinary team.
  • Exemplify Medical Excellence, client service, education, and efficiency (10–20%).
  • Foster a culture of medical excellence, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Engage veterinarians through performance discussions, coaching, and development plans.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager on scheduling to meet client needs.
  • Assist in interviewing and hiring associate veterinarians and other staff as required.
  • Represent the hospital at annual conferences and occasional networking events.
  • Lead monthly hospital doctor meetings covering product strategy, lab practices, new procedures, and business growth.
  • Educate and guide the veterinary team on SKU consolidation, product selection, and laboratory strategy.
  • Promote teamwork, engagement, and a high eNPS through empowerment and culture building.
  • Champion recruitment and mentorship, supervising internship, externship, and mentorship programs.
  • Act as an ambassador for the hospital and MVA in community engagement, including schools and local events.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and DEA regulations for controlled substances.
  • Support MVP initiative rollouts and uphold core values and the mission statement.
Qualifications

• Experienced Medical Director or Advanced Associate Veterinarian.
• Strong clinician with high standards for client care.
• Proven leadership ability to inspire and empower teams.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and excels at culture building.
• Comfortable with mentoring, curriculum development, and community outreach.
