Lifeguards

Bonclarken Conference Center is looking for summer staff to work in the recreation/adventure areas. Job duties include life‑guarding at our pool and lake, facilitating groups on our dual zip lines, swing, the Leap of Faith, climbing tower, interior adventure elements and paintball. Staff will participate in a 2‑week training program that certifies them to run all of these programs. Part of the training includes a Lifeguarding / CPR / First Aid course.

All positions are paid and include housing and meals when the dining room is open. Work is based on a 40‑hour week and pay is $11.00 per hour. Time off is provided for fellowship, relaxation, and exploring the beautiful western North Carolina mountains. Positions will start the 3rd week of May.
