About the Role:This position is a full-time role.
Scope of Responsibilities:- Common Area Cleaning:
Regularly clean and maintain all interior and exterior common areas, including hallways, lobbies, recreational spaces, and entryways, ensuring a consistently clean and professional appearance. - Window Cleaning:
Clean windows in common areas to maintain clarity and curb appeal. - Painting:
Perform painting tasks (interior and exterior) in common areas and in units; including, but not limited to: sanding, caulking, puttying, painting, and clean up as needed. Additional duties may include applying stain and/or sealant to interior and exterior wood surfaces. - Maintenance:
Help perform quarterly inspections, including replacing batteries and HVAC furnace filters. - Special Projects:
Execute specialized tasks and repairs as needed; which will also include pressure washing sidewalks, patios, building exteriors, etc. - Horticultural Care:
Apply preventative weed control spray across properties and conduct light tree and hedge trimming to promote plant health and aesthetics. - Mulching:
Install and refresh mulch in flower beds and around trees as part of routine maintenance and seasonal projects. - Landscaping Projects:
Assist with or lead larger landscaping projects, such as planting seasonal flowers, installing new shrubs, or minor irrigation repair. - Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the overall successful operation of the properties.
- Experience with common landscaping equipment, as well as hand and power tools (e.g., string trimmer, hedge trimmer, pressure washer).
- Basic knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
- Knowledge of standard safety procedures when handling chemicals and performing tasks at height (if applicable).
- Ability to work both independently and with others while managing time effectively to complete scheduled tasks.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, standing for long periods, ascending and descending ladders, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver's license. A clean driving record may be required.
