Our team collaborates to provide aid and comfort to pets and their families when unforeseen medical conditions arise. Our facility boasts human-grade MRI, CT, a blood banking program, an in‑house laboratory, digital radiology, Ezyvet, and Vet Radar.
PurposeThe purpose of the Receiving lead is to oversee the care of all outpatients that present to the Emergency Service and maintain the workflow regarding triage, doctor exams, treatments, discharges, etc. This person will work concurrently with the Hospital lead, leaning on each other for support.
Requirements- RVT or equivalent veterinary assistant experience
- Preferred two (2) years of experience in the veterinary field
- Preferred supervisory/leadership experience
- Fluent in Ezy Vet and Vet Radar platforms
- The Receiving Lead will demonstrate organization, collaboration, exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, problem solving skills, and follow through ability.
- The Receiving Lead is to be an effective leader:

- Be forward thinking, anticipate challenges and work to find solutions to prevent these issues from becoming problems
- Be approachable to all team members
- The Receiving Lead will assist with job shadows, C9 students, and working interviews as needed.
- The Receiving Lead will check the emergency email and ER communications on Ezy Vet throughout shift.
- The Receiving Lead will ensure that all team members are keeping busy and being proactive in down time
This is a full‑time position.
12 Hour Shifts in 2‑week repeating rotation: one week Weds/Thurs/Fri 6 p‑6 a, the following week Fri/Sat/Sun 6 p‑6 a
On‑call and holiday rotation required.
Compensation$22.00 to $28.00 base pay depending on experience level and credential
