Role: Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Status: Full-Time Salary: Negotiable and based on experience Schedule: Four-day work weeks with rotating Saturdays; no nights or holidays Requirements: Registered Veterinary Technician with strong technical skills, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, laboratory testing, radiology, diagnostics, and patient handling

What Our Registered Veterinary Technicians Do

As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you’ll be an active part of patient care and have opportunities to use your technical skills throughout the day.

Responsibilities include:

• Triage patients and obtain thorough histories, vitals, and patient assessments
• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
• Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
• Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection
• Run in-house laboratory testing, including CBC/chemistry, urinalysis, cytology, and other diagnostics
• Assist with radiology, diagnostics, and basic imaging
• Practice Fear Free and low-stress handling techniques to help keep patients safe and comfortable
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized treatment and exam areas
• Follow established infection-control protocols
• Work collaboratively with veterinarians and fellow team members to keep patient care moving smoothly
