Indy Vet Emergency and Specialty Hospital welcomes veterinary students to its externship program, offering exposure to emergency and specialty care alongside boarded specialists, clinicians, interns and residents.
Externs participate in daily case rounds, grand rounds, journal club, and lectures, with a lunch-presented case for 4+ week experiences. On-site housing is provided and a $250 weekly stipend supports externs during the program.
