Cloud Engineer - Czech & English

About the Position The Cloud Engineer is a senior technical role responsible for managing, deploying, and supporting cloud solutions within the massive bank group.

Key tasks include providing technical support for cloud initiatives, designing implementation workflows, and collaborating with the Cloud Architect to develop services and architecture aligned with the company’s cloud strategy. Practical experience in configuring, scripting, and deploying applications to the cloud is required.

• Supporting the process of deploying applications to the cloud
• Assisting with application deployment into cloud environments
• Expanding the portfolio of cloud services, primarily AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Coordinating with security and infrastructure teams
• Supporting innovative projects
• Managing solutions in the cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure)
• Engaging in Dev Ops and Fin Ops practices

• At least 1 year of experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud)
• Basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, ARM)
• Practical knowledge of cloud infrastructure development and deployment (CI/CD)
• Strong analytical thinking
• Team collaboration skills
• Basic knowledge of IT and project processes (e.g., ITIL)
• Knowledge of banking/financial services is an advantage
• Practical experience with security and regulatory requirements for cloud solutions in the banking sector is aplus
