Automation Technician

We are a successful service provider with many years of experience in the planning and execution of software and hardware projects in all areas of industrial automation. We have seen a sharp increase in requests for large-scale and customized solutions from our customers in a wide range of industries. To ensure that we can continue to provide our customers with optimal support in the future, we are looking for additional staff in the production of switch gear.

• Independently building and wiring control cabinets according to plans and deadlines to bring complex systems to life
• Testing systems and preparing installations to ensure the highest quality and safety
• Assembling control cabinets at customer sites throughout Switzerland to deliver customized solutions on site
• Carrying out modifications and changes to control systems, thereby optimizing existing systems and adapting them to requirements
• Responsibility for the final inspection of switch gear to ensure that everything is working properly
• Complete project management from planning to implementation, so that innovative solutions can be implemented for our customers
• Reporting on the work, creating protocols, checklists, and documentation to maintain an overview and ensure complete documentation
• Supporting the training of our apprentices, passing on knowledge and expertise, and promoting the next generation

• Completed training as an automation engineer EFZ, electrical installer EFZ, or equivalent qualification to build on sound technical knowledge
• Professional experience in wiring systems according to schematics in order to perform complex tasks safely and precisely
• Ideally, experience in switch gear and control system construction in order to be familiar with the requirements and standards
• Knowledge of common MS Office programs in order to create documentation
• Good comprehension, networked and analytical thinking, and an understanding of technical contexts in order to solve complex tasks
• Motivated, independent, and customer-oriented approach to working in a team to achieve joint success
• Written and spoken German skills;
  English skills are an advantage
