Environmental/Health & Safety Coordinator
Understanding of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 45001 management system requirements.
Environmental:
Operational compliance and monthly reporting
Safety:
Operational compliance, monthly reporting
Health: OSHA record keeping, associate return to work/light duty
Treatment of facility work related injuries and illnesses and coordination of their care with physicians.
Coordinate compensation for work related injuries and illnesses with Workers Compensation Insurance Carrier.
Training Coordinator for Environmental/Health & Safety Issues.
Tours plant to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Conducts or coordinates safety and first aid training to educate workers about safety policies, laws, and practices.
Investigate facility accidents to minimize recurrence and prepare accident reports.
Report Environmental KPI's to monthly.
Update monthly compliance calendar.
Monitor and report on Environmental issues.
General knowledge on OSHA/IOSHA requirements
Strong organizational skills

Ability to maintain confidential information and to communicate information regarding compliance performance or other business issues strictly on a need-to-know basis.
Knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to change and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
High level of proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to work overtime as required. (Daily or weekly) As well as working in different locations as needed
