WhatYou'll Do
- Coordinate and support plant safety programs to help maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and job hazard analyses.
- Investigate workplace incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and help implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate and deliver safety training, including new hire orientation and OSHA-required training programs.
- Track safety metrics, maintain documentation, and assist with regulatory compliance activities.
- Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and HR to improve workplace safety initiatives.
- Spend time on the manufacturing floor coaching employees and reinforcing safe work practices.
- Assist with annual compliance activities, inspections, and continuous improvement projects.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Emergency Management, Risk Management, Fire Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to lead training sessions and interact with employees at all levels.
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for workplace safety and continuous improvement.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
