What

You'll Do
  • Coordinate and support plant safety programs to help maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and job hazard analyses.
  • Investigate workplace incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and help implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate and deliver safety training, including new hire orientation and OSHA-required training programs.
  • Track safety metrics, maintain documentation, and assist with regulatory compliance activities.
  • Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and HR to improve workplace safety initiatives.
  • Spend time on the manufacturing floor coaching employees and reinforcing safe work practices.
  • Assist with annual compliance activities, inspections, and continuous improvement projects.
What We're Looking For
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Emergency Management, Risk Management, Fire Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to lead training sessions and interact with employees at all levels.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for workplace safety and continuous improvement.
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
