In this highly visible role, you'll help drive a culture where safety is embedded in every decision and every phase of project execution. Working closely with project managers, site supervisors, contractors, and field teams, you'll lead initiatives that identify and reduce risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote continuous improvement. From conducting site audits and delivering impactful training to investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions, you'll be a trusted partner in creating a workplace where everyone can perform at their best.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How you'll make an impact
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve construction HSE programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses while implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Deliver engaging HSE training for employees and contractors on safety, emergency response, PPE, and environmental protection.
  • Maintain accurate HSE documentation, permits, reports, training records, and incident logs.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate HSE requirements into all phases of construction activities.
  • Monitor environmental performance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and permit conditions.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through employee engagement, communication, recognition programs, and emergency preparedness initiatives.
Your background
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive HSE experience within construction, infrastructure, industrial, or energy projects.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ANSI, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analyses, and developing corrective action plans.
  • CSP, CIH, or other relevant professional safety certifications are highly preferred.
